《剑桥研究杂志》创立于2005年，是由剑桥中国学者学生初创的“剑桥研究学会”负责管理出版的正式国际英文期刊。创刊以来，《剑桥研究杂志》以高等教育研究为中心，广泛收录了海内外学者在教育理论，科研，实践等诸多方面的研究成果。同时，研究领域还涉及社会学，心理学，人类学，经济学，等其他诸多相关学科。

为了更好的适应当前的科研进展，带动期刊向跨学科研究深入。2008年的JCS期刊将在扩大教育研究范围，提高教育研究质量的基础上，扩大对发展问题的覆盖面。内容将涉及发展问题所涵盖的法律，经济，管理学，社会学，等多方面。具体的信息，请参考期刊网站 (http://journal.acs-cam.org.uk)。

Dear CSSA  members,

Journal of Cambridge Studies (JCS) is an academic journal affiliated with the Association of Cambridge Studies. It was established and formally registered as an international periodical in 2005 by Chinese scholars in Cambridge. Being principally a higher education oriented publication initially, the journal has experienced fast development during the past two years with a much broader coverage of educational research. In the meantime, JCS always encourages interdisciplinary studies from related fields such as sociology, psychology, economics etc.

In 2008, Journal of Cambridge Studies will continue to work to expand its scope, readership and influence among scholars from different disciplines. New features include free online access and fast reviewing and publication process. Furthermore, to help promote more meaningful interdisciplinary cooperation, JCS will expand its coverage to fields such as law, economics, management studies etc. Please refer to our website for refined journal scope and submission guidelines.
