Selected conference papers will be published in the Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies and an edited book. The CEA (UK) conference this year will have four added features:
- A PhD Colloquium: experienced supervisors will chair and comment on students’ papers
- Prizes awarded to best papers submitted and presented by PhD students
- Information corner for job opportunities
- The 1st linked Conference with the Federation of the Chinese Professional Societies (UK) on 18th April 2007, including all the main professional societies apart from the CEA (UK). ?
The conference will be opened by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nottingham and his Excellency, Mr Zha Peixin, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UK. Keynote speakers will include high level Chinese and British government officials, directors of multinational companies and eminent China experts. The following people have indicated their initial commitments to keynote speeches at the conference:

Conference Participation (including membership of CEA, three issues of the Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies, and lunches, but not accommodation), Full fee £95, student fee £35.
