CTAS-UK 2006 Conference Announcement and Call for Papers

The CTAS-UK will hold the 2006 annual conference on Saturday, 4 Nov
in Manchester. The conference will provide an academic forum to
present and discuss recent developments in textile science and
engineering, design, management and marketing, fashioning and clothing
to stimulate new ideas and to strengthen the links between UK and
China. The themes of the conference include but not limit to the
following:



1. New materials and properties

2. Textile processing technology

3. Fashion design and clothing technology

4. Technical textiles

5. Textile physics and chemistry

6. Dyeing and finishing

7. Management & retail of textiles and fashion

8. Modelling of fibre assemblies for different applications


Submission of Abstract

The prospective authors are requested to submit abstracts to Danmei
Sun (d.sun@hw.ac.uk), the Secretary of CTAS-UK. Abstracts must be
written in English with no more than 300 words, together with the
title of the paper, names of authors, company affiliation, and contact
methods (phone, fax, and e-mail).
