Software Engineer – KTP Associate

2 year appointment plus sponsored PG degree
Salary circa £25,000 p.a. plus training budget
Accelerate your career! This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Computer Science graduate to work in the cutting-edge computer vision industry. Legion is a dynamic and innovative company who design, manufacture and market pedestrian simulation software. The project will focus on the development of tools to analyse video-footage and track pedestrians.
The selected applicant will benefit from a generous training package, university and company support and supervision, the opportunity to enrol for a fully-sponsored postgraduate degree (MSc, PhD), where appropriate, and the potential to develop an academic research profile and/or a permanent position with the company. You will also gain experience in:

This Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Legion and Kingston University will employ a graduate to work on a high profile project.
We are looking for exceptional graduates, including mature students, with:
- BSc (at least 2:1) or PG degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline. Experience in image processing/computer vision would be desirable
- strong object-oriented programming skills e.g. in C++/ java mathematical and/or statistics skills
- first-class communication and networking skills
- a high level of self-motivation and willingness to learn
- the ability to work alone and in a team
- good written, IT and presentation skills in English
