A PhD studentship in wireless communications is available right now. It's a three-year studentship based on EPSRC standard. Both home/EU and overseas students can apply for it. The expected applicant will have experience in software defined radio. Other applicants with strong background in wireless communications, networking, or software engineering can also apply.
The applicant will work with me at Institute of Advanced Telecommunications(IAT), Swansea University. IAT is a newly established research institute with high level academics from all over the world. It's well equipped and has a close connection with industry. Currently there are 6 academic staff and around 10 researchers in wireless group.
