Profile

Established in 1988, CSSA-UK is a non-political, non-religious and non-profit organization, which organizes, sponsors, and supports various social activities among Chinese students and scholars in the UK. The association also maintains close connections with the country of China and other CSSA members across the world.

Mission

CSSA-UK is committed to developing unique and attractive programs and activities locally, nationally and internationally. This enables Chinese students, scholars and other ethnic individuals interested in China to experience and enjoy a richer, fuller, and more successful life in the UK and beyond.

Organization

· Headquartered in the Embassy of PRC in the United Kingdom;
· Over 70 Subsidiary Associations nationwide, in Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, UCL, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh etc;
· Over 100,000 registered members with approximately 30,000 fresh students arriving in the UK from China each year (source from Home Office).

· Weekly and non-weekly emails spread out to over 100,000 members;

· Annual sports games and entertainment events.
